Part 1b - Analysing Exsiting Audio - Visual Products

I have chosen these audio - visual products as these are the types of products that I would like to produce. The next 2 products are based on childhood memories. This is the products that I found that are like the type of product that I would like to produce.

Wales rugby stars fondest childhood memories | WRU TV

Purpose:

the purpose of the film is to show the humble beginings of some of Wales' rugby stars.

 

Form and Style:

the form of this film is a audio and visual product. The style of the product is a interview style with the use of general views showing what the childhood of the rugby players went through in their childhood.

 

Contents:

the film conents are an interview with the players then general views of children playing rugby

 

Meaning:

to tell the childhood stories of the rugby starsand to show how rugby had changed their lives

 

Genre:

the genre of the film is a documentry

 

Target Audience:

the target audience of the film is people between 12 to people 50 years old, as people might wonder how did the rugby stars grew up

 

Frequency:

the frequency of the film is that it is a one off from the youtube channel WRU Offical, it is also not in a series of childhoood memories that was posted with other rugby clubs around the country

 

Production Process:

First they conceptualise the idea, then they would story board the idea so that they would know what they would need to film. Then they would go out and film. When they have filnished, they would use a film editing software (e.g. adobe premeir) to edit the short film together.

in interview - 1 camera medium shot, while another camera at close shot

in gv - close shots, wide angle shots and medium shots, also with the use of photographs

this short film is to show people on the street about their childhood memories

 

Form and Style:

the form of this audio and visual product is a interview. The style of the short film is a multi cam shoot with the editor skipping from one camera t another

 

Contents:

the film contents of this short film is an interview, asking them about their childhood memories

 

Meaning:

the meaning of this film is to show the childhood memories of random strangers on the street

 

Genre:

the genre of the film is a documentry

 

Target Audience:

the target audience of the film is people between 12 to people 50 years old, as people might wonder how did other people grew up

the purpose of this film is to show what the migrants went through as they traveled from their country to another to work

the form of the film isan interview style, but instead of showing their faces they have pictures of what they did when they traveled to one place to another, what they did when they got there and what they had to go through

the film contents of this short film is an interview, pictures of everyday life

 

Meaning:

the meaning of the film is to show what they had to go through in order to get a job and support their family back home
